Rowers in groups propel boats on Chenger Khal in Sylhet during a boat race on Wednesday. Popularly known as nouka baich, the event attracted a good number of people who gathered on both sides of the canal and some even on a boat to cheer for their favourite team. Residents of Mogolgaon have been organising the competition for around 50 years.
